Gastroenterology (GI) is the specialty of medicine that diagnoses and treats diseases of the digestive tract. Hepatology encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of the liver, biliary tree and pancreas. Ours is a comprehensive GI and hepatology practice, and we are fully accredited through JCAHO to perform office based endoscopy at our center, where more than 50,000 endoscopic procedures have been performed safely. Endoscopy and colonoscopy are essential tools in evaluating the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), and biliary tree. We provide quality medical care and take pride in our highly trained and experienced medical staff and state of the art equipment.

If you are a new patient please come to the office 15 minutes prior to your appointment to complete paperwork and to register. To reduce your waiting time you can download the new patient information package here. Please bring your insurance card and photo identification as well.

Appointment Cancellation
Please call and cancel at least 24 hours in advance to ensure that other patients in need of medical care can be seen.

In our offices we perform colonoscopy, to examine the large intestine and rectum for pre-cancerous polyps and other pathology, and upper endoscopy, to evaluate the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum for various conditions including ulcer disease.

Several other ancillary procedures are also performed including:

1)      Wireless capsule endoscopy, to evaluate various diseases of the small intestine.
2)      Dilation of esophageal strictures, which often cause swallowing problems
3)      Evaluation and treatment of hemorrhoids by variety of medications & procedures
4)      Lactose intolerance evaluation by breath test.
5)      Advanced therapeutic biliary and pancreatic endoscopy (ERCP) to evaluate and treat diseases of the biliary tract and pancreas.

The center has endoscopy procedure rooms, pre and post procedure patient areas and a comfortable waiting room for family and friends. Board certified anesthesiologists provide state of the art sedation providing patient comfort and safety. We provide flexible scheduling Monday through Friday and most major insurance policies are accepted.

Our Infusion Center at the Huntington Medical Group offers convenience for patients who require infusions of Remicade® for the treatment of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.  Our infusion service is provided by an experienced nurse who specializes in intravenous treatments. Our nurse works closely with all the physicians and nurses in our practice in a team approach for your care. Our team will also provide ongoing assessment and evaluation as well as educational and instructional materials. We are committed to creating the best experience for our patients. 

Our physicians will diagnose and treat a variety of diseases and conditions of the GI tract including:

General Health Topics: Bacteria and Foodborne Illness, Bleeding in the Digestive Tract, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation, Hernia, Lactose Intolerance, Nutrition, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Dyspepsia (Indigestion), Cancer Prevention, Anemia, Fecal Incontinence, and Hereditary Cancer Syndromes.

Esophagus: Gastresophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Barrett’s Esophagus, Esophageal Strictures, swallowing problems and Esophageal Cancer.

Stomach: Peptic Ulcer Disease (NSAID and H.Pylori induced), Delayed Gastric Emptying (Gastroparesis), Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, Gastric Polyps, Gastritis and Stomach Cancer.

Small Intestine: Celiac Disease (Sprue), Crohn’s Disease, Lactose intolerance and Short Bowel Syndrome.

Liver: Gallstones and Gallbladder Disease, Viral Hepatitis, Chronic Hepatitis B and C, Cirrhosis of the Liver, Esophageal Varices, Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH), Hemochromatosis, Liver Cancer, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC), Autoimmune Hepatitis, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), and Liver Transplantation.
